Antonio (Tonino) Cosola was born in Matera on April 14th 1949. He worked for a factory, "Ferrosud", in Matera, and actually he is on retire.
His rural origins and the passion for his town together with his exceptional abilities in carving wood and working iron, drove him to recover and reveal the knowledge of the traditional tools used by peasants at work; The miniature reproductions of some of the most beautiful and particular old agricultural implements and the reproductions of stamps are the result of an accurate research work and historical reconstructions.
